Meestal dump ik leuke links tegenwoordig via de Twitters, maar dit filmpje zit te vol met Bon Mots. Dat past nooit in 140 karakters. Dan Pink over motivatie:
De belangrijkste conclusie? Bonussen werken alleen voor simpele taken. Niet voor taken waarvoor creativiteit vereist is (rechterhersenhelftwerk).
Maar het leukste is het jargon uit dit filmpje:
- ROWE: een Result Only Work Environment.
Een werkomgeving waar niet op aanwezigheid of aantal gewerkte uren gestuurd wordt, maar op bereikte resultaten. - Fedex Days: citaat:
There’s an Australian software company called Atlassian, and they do something once a quarter where they say to their software developers: You can work on anything you want, any way you want, with whomever you want, you just have to show the results to the rest of the company at the end of 24 hours. They call these things “FedEx days” because you have to deliver something overnight. - True Fact: een feit dat nog waar is ook (amazing!)
- Incentivize: iemand een bonus in het voortuitzicht stellen.
